About Nishiyama Sweets

Kanmidokoro Nishiyama is a traditional Japanese sweets shop located near Kaminarimon in Asakusa, founded in 1852 (Kaei 5).
Our signature item, Fukufuku Manju, along with anmitsu and zenzai, showcases our long-standing focus on sweets made with azuki beans.

At our shop, we prepare as much as possible in-house, including our bean paste, manju, shiratama dumplings, and ice cream.
We value a simple, well-balanced sweetness that allows the natural character of the ingredients to come through, leaving a clean and gentle finish.

In addition to enjoying sweets in our café, we also offer items suitable for takeaway and as gifts.
